@Gilles and @sjgcit: Thank you for your positive appreciation. The rationale for the registration was the following. For Part 1, I found that the Principal 8' stop had too many harmonics and the Flute 8' too few for this Little Prelude. I therefore used the combination of Flute 8' and Bourdon 8'. For Part 2, a sufficient contrast was obtained by adding the Flute 4'. For Part 3, I had the choice between adding the Quinte 2'2/3, which is a Flute, and the Nasard 2'2/3, which is a Bourdon. I chose the latter to avoid giving too much importance to the fifth, which would have blurred the harmony. Finally, for Part 4, I chose to add the Doublette 2' and Piccolo 1' rather that the Plein Jeux because the latter would have been too shrill. The progression adds harmonics in the order 8', 4', 2'2/3, 2' and 1'. It builds some expectation in the listener and may be some emotion when this expectation is fulfilled at the beginning of Part 4.

Little Prelude No 6 in E minor BWV 938 by J.S. Bach is usually played on the harpsichord or the piano. Here, I present an interpretation of the prelude that can be played on a single manual of Organteq-1, with different registrations for the four (2x2) parts. Part 1: Flute 8' + Bourdon 8' of Grand Orgue. Part 2: As Part 1 + Flute 4' of Positif. Part 3: As Part 2 + Nasard 2'2/3 of Positif. Part 4: As Part 3 + Doublette 2' and Piccolo 1' of Positif. Coupler between Positif and Grand Orgue. Tempo of 112 bpm (quaver); 2'35.
