			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Thanks, this is indeed a project I&#039;ve been working on for the last two years (although in reality for most of that time I did nothing and I also own a Yamaha N1X). There are two threads about this project on PianoWorld forums and they follow my quest into it.</p><p>People probably know that I am a huge Pianoteq detractor <i class="far fa-smile smiley"></i> Whatever our differences are, I think my controller is a very good proof of concept that one can eassily make a fine MIDI controller with a real piano action for much less money than current hybrid pianos. The piano action aside (which is from a 100-year old grand piano and I had to restore it and fully regulate it myself), the electronics costed me around $200. Well, I spent a lot of sleepless nights to experiment, design, re-design, test, and again and again. But nevertheless it was a fun project that I consider either turning into business (highly unlikely since I have a good day job as a software engineer) or just share it for free.</p>]]></content>

I think this is amazing. I would like to put together something similar at home. It is only necessary to supplement this with position and speed sensors of the damper. Maybe get a high-res midi .. and it will be ideal! such a system can be installed in the piano and in a grand piano.
