			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Sorted. I realised that if I play a note, I&#039;m striking it about half of what the mouse over the same key, so the sound is different. If I strike it full, the sound is the same.</p><p>For the first time, I&#039;ve really taken a closer look at my keyboard.</p><p>Thanks</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>They should be exactly the same, since in both cases you are triggering code through midi commands.</p><p>The problem is probably the velocity setting on your keyboard. Have you experimented with the various soft-to-hard settings and curves?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Why does the sound of the keyboard featured in Pianoteq&#039;s software, sound different from the one played through my midi controller (Fatar VMK-188), since they are both played through the same system? </p><p>I love the sound you get when playing Midi files directly through Pianoteq. Its sharp and clean and have more of an egde.</p><p>Does anyone else have this discrepancy in the sound?</p>]]></content>
