With which hardware sided velocity curve did you create the velcurve for the Keylab (while having the 88 MK1 here)?

88 MK2 here, but I found setting the controller to use a linear curve works the best if using the curve editor in Pianoteq. (Bass keys are still too 'hot' but I think this is a function of using a non-weight-graded keybed like the Fatar TP/100LR in the MK2.) I don't know if you have tried to use Arturia's "MIDI Control Center" with the MK1, but if you can get it working it's a bit easier to edit hardware params like velocity curve.

With which hardware sided velocity curve did you create the velcurve for the Keylab (while having the 88 MK1 here)? I don't even know which one is the default one, but I suspect the default hardware velocity curve inside the Keylab was Nr. "5", which is some kind of an exponential curve I guess. Or did you use the "0" (=linear) hardware curve?

Would be great if somebody's still around.

These are the preferred velocity settings I've settled on:

Velocity = [0, 14, 27, 37, 52, 72, 98, 113, 127; 1, 8, 24, 41, 65, 85, 106, 118, 127]

Or, for when I want silent pressing available:

Velocity = [0, 14, 27, 37, 52, 72, 98, 127; 0, 8, 24, 41, 65, 85, 106, 127]

Without this sort of sigmoid-like curve, I find I can't get enough gradations of quiet, and can't easily get loud enough; this seems just about right for both, while also allowing a range of middling dynamics too.

EDIT: In case this is relevant to my choice of curve: my background is playing upright pianos most of my life until the past year when, until getting this Arturia, I've been using a semi-weighted Native Instruments A61.

I've had this controller for over a year and not been super impressed with its use with Pianoteq. So glad I stumbled on this, it's a brand new controller! Thank you.

I just purchased my Keylab 88mk II as well as Pianoteq. The only thing I discovered in regards to velocity was the Calibration section which I did. How do I enter the velocity numbers that are listed in this post?

10 months later... I found myself in the same situation - new Keylab 88mk II + Pianoteq.
I stumbled upon the solution, so I'm posting it here in case anyone else needs it:

Clicking on the "VELOCITY" title bar opens a menu, that has Copy & Paste options near the top.
I clicked "Copy" and found the following text on the clipboard:
Velocity = [0, 127; 0, 127]

So I understood that I have to copy this line from the OP in the browser:

and then click Paste in the Pianoteq menu.

Voila!

Ah, that interpolation wasn’t even intended! The only intended difference was the very first point: 0,1 vs 0,0, for when I want velocity 0 to produce ppp vs silence.
