Needed to reinstall Linux and just taking a memo that
Some how 'Pianoteq 6.so' (with a space inbetween) didn't work from 'Pianoteq/pianoteq_linux_v660/Pianoteq 6/amd64'
But instead 'Pianoteq_6.so' from 'Pianoteq/pianoteq_linux_v660/Pianoteq 6/amd64/Pianoteq 6.lv2'' worked fine under $HOME/.vst in Reaper v5.984

no problem, i'm glad i could be helpful. Reaper seems really powerful and i hope i can learn more myself about it. i got interested in it because i wanted to try out some of the Linux synth plug-ins from u-he. they seem really cool.

I was able to get it work. I just used one of the default paths that Reaper uses, which is $HOME/.vst directory, and I did `mkdir $HOME/.vst`, then `cp`d the shared object file ("Pianoteq 6.so"), as you mentioned, the into $HOME/.vst directory, and it showed up in Reaper just fine via "Insert virtual instrument on new track".

I am curious if anybody has had success with loading Pianoteq as virtual instrument in Reaper, all in Linux.
Having tough time being able to do this, so I came to the forum to see if anybody has been able to do so.
