At the bottom of your Recent MIDI files list, you have an option for you to Create a playlist with the recordings.  With that you get your recent playing placed in the Pianoteq MIDI Playlist for you to hear your playing from the list.

That's exactly what I don't want, look at this messy picture, this is what a practice/playing session looks like:

Dozens of files created and worse than that, I'm not able to quickly find what's of my interest in the session.

My suggestion is to save the complete sessions since you start PTQ until you shut it down, in a single file, so you can open it and seek the part of interest throught the little monitor above next to the play button.

Just wanted to say how cool is it to have all your playing recorded automatically as MID so you can get back to some creative point you had in the past or just listen to your practice sessions and make observations.

Now I'm wondering why did Moddart it in such a way that the files are separated based on how long you're idle? I would say it should be an only single file for the whole playing session since you start up Pianoteq until you sut it down. You can then skip the silent moments directly from the little monitor when playing it back.

I know some of you will say, it's a better way to export just the session you want as WAV or MP3, well if you intend to record a song or you're working in or a project, you don't just rely on the MID autorecording, you actually press the record button and play everything you wanna export later.

Suggestion to Moddart: Maybe an option within the settings to have both modes available?
