Greetings all, does anyone know if a half-damper style sustain pedal (I'm looking at Roland DP-10) should work into a standard continuous controller input?

I have an SL-990 (more on that later) and would like to go beyond the on/off type sustain pedal. As there don't seem to be any stand-alone piano-style midi pedals, I'm wondering about employing my K2000's continuous controller input. So the 990 would midi out into the K2000, which would midi out into the pc. When playing the 990, the DP-10 pedal should add the continuous sustain info into the midi stream, correct?

And for that matter, since the K2000 has 2 switched pedal inputs in addition to the continuous, those could go to soft and sos pedal outputs of a triple pedal (assuming 3x1/4"), no?
