You can use the same license slot for different OS as long as the PC is the same. (For instance I use dual boot Windows / Linux on the same PC)

I have an old (small format) Acer PC with old linux distros in different partitions that I want to dedicate to pianoteq.

It was registered under an old distro and still runs under it (but not under a current Ubuntu).

I want to re-format the HD and start again with a new distro - possibly Mint, or something more suitable (suggestions?).

Will this kill the licence, and if so, what can I do about it?
