Even when I blinded myself to your titles, I enjoyed the C. Bechstein D.G. best, as the cleanest, least veiled, and least tunnel-like sound.  On the other hand, both the Grotrian and the Bluethner sounded the most colored, almost like comparing an inexpensive 2700 Kelvin lightblulb against an example of a G.E. Reveal bulb.  One is yellowed and uncomfortably warm, while the other just makes me smile.  It's curious, though, since when I got interested in Pianoteq with version 5, the Bluethner was pretty-much the go-to instrument, the one for which forum users had posted seemingly the most FXP files, using the Bluethner as the base for Steinways, Steingraebers, Baldwins, etc.  The Bluethner currently just doesn't hold up to the other instruments that are newer, the Bechstein being the shining example.

For me the Bluethner still sounds really great, possibly my favourite. Listening to a video of the real thing last night I was struck by how close the sound was to the Modartt model:

The MIDI files were bounced to aif format using Logic Pro X. No equalization, reverb, compression, or anything else was done using the DAW. The presets as supplied in Pianoteq 6.5.3 were not altered either.
