Because I do have a copy of Pianoteq PRO licensed to me, I occasionally may load a preset and look into its individual note values per each parameter that distinguishes it from another preset. Now, I’ve yet to find a preset having all parameter note values linear without preconfigured note adjustments.

With Pianoteq PRO, when some particular preset sound I dislike, suprisingly, individual note adjustments, already part of the included standard preset, are a possible cause for my distastes.

Maybe this entry will do —and earnest while as difinative as any.

I have PTQ Standard (and very nice it is too) and I play around with FXPs because who can resist doing that anyway. But recently I have been playing around with FXPs by other people saved from Pro. Now Pro allows you to alter parameters beyond what Standard can alter. Standard happily loads all these alterations and applies them from such FXPs, but it occurs to me to ask if, when you alter such a "Pro" FXP in Standard and then save it, does Standard save all the Pro-made alterations as well, or do they get left out of the new Standard saved FXP.

My impression is that Standard saves everything that's there in the FXP to start with (but you of course cannot alter them all), but if anyone has a definitive answer to this I'd loved to know.

Thanks.
