just came across this old thread. Ctrl-click doesn't do anything- no toggle for midi learn mode.

I'm on a Mac using Pianoteq 8 but command-click is working for me.  It only works for the current preset so you need to switch to the preset first.  It won't work within the popup menu of presets.

You can also go to the preset management window (press "L" or click the little pencil-and-paper icon) and either right-click or click on the little triangle for any preset and select "Assign MIDI Event."

In the main pianoteq screen, Ctrl-click (command-click on mac) on the preset name, that will toggle midi-learn mode for that preset. Then send the program-change midi message (or note-on, or control change) that you wish to assign to that preset. Repeat for all the presets that you want to recall via program change, and you're done. Don't forget to save your midi assignments in the options / midi panel in order to have them recalled on startup.

Nearly 4 years later, but...
That appears to no longer work - on PTQ4.

Correction: Not in quite the same way.

I got to it ONE time, I think  via "manage presets", which brings up the effects window, then clicked on "view full presets", then right clicking on the desired preset to get to "assign midi event".

OK, that is a route, maybe not the only route, maybe not the recommended route, but it is repeatable.

Don't think it was possible to select a piano preset (C2 for example) in version 2.3. and haven't seen this ability in v3.

Is it possible to select Pianoteq presets using MIDI program-change messages ?

What I would like to see in Pianoteq is a possibility to assign program change numbers to presets - modified (fxp) or not (default settings).

These assignments could then be saved and loaded as a bank with a maximum of 128 presets.

I can even  imagine using Bank Select messages to select different banks.

Anyway, my point is: It would be nice if I could select my Pianoteq presets using remote MIDI program change messages from my keyboard or MIDI sequencer tracks.

If this is not possible yet, this is definitely a feature request.
