I do like the idea of export to scala file, much like export to FXP.

In the meantime, luckily scala files are text.

Lets say you just finished tuning things the way you want.

Next in Pianoteq's advanced tuning interface, select "temperament"

and the menu item "copy to clipboard".

For example, this is the copy/paste done that way:

Some observation (!=comment & delineation and 12=scale and remember space at begin line) and some editing to that effect of the copy/pasted text should make a workable scala file.

Just save it with a .scl extension and see if it loads into Pianoteq without throwing an error. (drag and drop to save loading via menu if quicker for you).

There are always more details to check out if you want to work out more ways of formatting tunings yourself. I think some threads here were helpful - would search 'scala tuning' - just checked a lot turns up.

Hope that's of some help for you, or anyone wanting to save their tunings to a .scl (scala file).
