Thanks, I’m learning new words now - coherent. I should probably struggle to make better music, making it sound more coherent :-)

This is very nice! It sounds heartfelt and personal, an expression of your own creative voice.
I like the somewhat more uptempo version, which nevertheless maintains the gentle mood.

Thank you, Gaston and bernard, for your nice comments and good advise. Here is a bit faster version. I did my best. I’m satisfied now (from 2,27 to 2,07). What a wonderful helpful forum. Here one can get an answer even before asking the question (was wondering if it was too slow).
btw, have been in ”Gaston-school” before - good school with good teacher. I will take the support I have had and try to pay it forward whenever I can :-)

it's successful, I like the repetition of the rhythmic pattern all along the piece, about the speed of execution I think like Gaston, you should try maybe a little faster

I think this piece would benefit from being played a little faster.
Have you tried to set the playback speed to 1.25 in Pinanoteq's MIDI player? It wouldn't take anything away from the deep melancholy of this nice piece.
Maybe some silences could also be shortened (or even deleted, for example you could skip the last chord at 1'57 and go directly to 2'00).
But that's just my feeling at first listening, please don't take this as a lesson from a teacher that I'm not !

I have no text in the video this time, so one can probably get some different emotional respons from the music (or not). If not, maybe you come up with a perspective for yourself by listening tomorrow (or not). Because, we all can feel music different.
