Why the metronome changes? The new sound is very harsh and unpleasant to the ears to the point that it has become unusable for me. And it is way too loud. At the default level it sounds at the forte level, and even at the lowest (-15db) level it sounds annoying and distracting with the new sound.
Yes I agree with the fact that it is too loud.
I am ok with the sound but it is loud.
Pianoteq has a high output level in comparison with other vst instruments.
For that reason I play usually at -7dB on the volume knob.
The metronom is then too high, even at -10dB.
I think this should be seen as a problem in the last version.
A solution could be to lower the output level of the metronom.
Another is to link the metronom with the volume of the piano.

]]>Yes, my impression is that on the Tinkerboard/ARM 6.4 gets CPU problem more often than 6.3, too, especially with the newer instruments. I'd like to play the Steingraeber regularly but the result on the Tinkerboard is not sufficient (the Steinway B is very nice, though). All in 44.1kHz.

I'd really like to hear from Modartt what their idea is on the ARM version; I like it a lot for practise, but than there seems to be no ARM hardware available on the market which is powerful enough to run it as a stage-ready instrument.
I'm also wondering what "polyphony" means for a software where you should always have a "state" of a complex combination of resonating strings and others parts of the piano, not a certain number of pianos all playing a single note and then mixed together with some extra-effects?
