At the time, I had not yet tried Pianoteq. Has anybody ever tried playing Pianoteq from a Casio-Beckstein, or even owns both? (!). If so, I would be very interested in hearing your impressions!

Would there already be a Casio piano with this new keybed? This brief video doesn't tell us anything about that.

I'm interested in everything you state, but also having a MIDI controller that supports both piano playing and synth playing (aftertouch, pitch/mod, sliders/knobs) is kind of a dream for me.

I don't think Casio would even give you mono channel aftertouch, let alone the real deal sadly.

piano/ists. I can understand your hope for mod/pitch wheels but not to sure how necessary they are for pianocentrics like moi. Aftertouch would be interesting, but again, for piano playing? Would be more interested personally in

Forgot to mention but the keybeds for these new instruments were created specifically for them including a brand new weighted mechanism and as well as the keys themselves. Casio are not rehashing any existing keybed here.

These keybeds went through three months continuous testing at the factory in Japan. Casio developed their own test gear including an automated key testing robot which strikes each key at different velocities millions of times.

At the end of testing they checked to see if any wear occurred and where it was so they could finely tune the production process for maximum quality and durability.

From my perspective as an end user and prospective customer I have to say this is one of the most beautiful feeling keybeds I have ever rested my fingers on...and trust me, I am NOT easy to please!
