I have both Pianoteq (Stage) and Cantabile 3 (Performer) - running on a Windows 10 laptop -, and with me Pianoteq appears as desired. I have set the Pianoteq interface to 'Giant' 250%, and then it almost completely fills my Cantabile screen.

So not sure if this is a generic problem

I have Reaper as well, and indeed no issues there

This appears to be a Cantabile problem, or a problem with my system. When I open Pianoteq in the vst player Cantabile, the interface is quite small, about 1/5 the size of the interface that appears in Reaper and other DAW's.

But the Cantabile blog says that it's a problem with how the interfaces for the VSTI's are written, and offers a work-around:

But if that's the case, why are DAW's such as Reaper able to open the larger interface? Do DAW's just automatically shut down the high-res rendering and disply the interfaces at a lower pixel density?
