basically thats it,
as we have a frank zappa tribute including percussion player running some stuff with a mallet pad,
he brings already to much gear, in real small clubs he is using just the mallet pad.
the samples of marimbas ,xylo and vibraphones (kontakt 5 very cumbersome) simply do no match the playability and quality of pianoteq.
too i tend to keep things simple for live purposes, no mainframe or other host, the idea is ONLY pianoteq loaded, as it switches so fast between instruments.
long blah blah short request, before i buy the marimba and vibraphone packs i would like to know from a pro user if it is possible to create these cencerros. sadly there is no pro demo of pianoteq i would try it myself
