The Pianoteq - Home folder I have synced using Insync (from Insynchc.com, Googledrive client with version for Linux), Dropbox would also work, probably more.
In general, this works really very well; fxp files, MIDI-automation, mini-presets, MIDI-recordings etc, all gets nicely synced.
With 1 exception: Impulse Responses. I made a few banks of Reverb presets (mini-presets) with those, but on another computer, with different OS, Pianoteq can't find the Impulse response that belongs to the mini-preset.
The problem is that I'm preparing gigs on another computer(a Mac) than the one I use for gigs (Windows or Linux); and I automate the effect so I can access and change them fast in that way.
I opened a mini-preset-file, with extension .mfxp, that was made in PT Mac OS X version, in a texteditor, and the last line of it says
/Users/marc/<synced folder>/Pianoteq/Presets/ConcertHall1 -L.wav
Made on Windows:
C:\Users\marc\<synced folder>\Pianoteq\Presets\ConcertHall1 -L.wav
So I guess these are not interchangeble.
I guess there are 3, or 4 possibilities here:
-1: as above, path to impulse response is absolute/complete.
-2: path to impulse response is relative to User folder.
-3: path to impulse response is relative to Pianoteq folder
-4: no path: impulse response has to be inside the same folder as the .mfxp file.

ATM it works as -1. This works probably best when used on only 1 computer, because impulse responses can have a central folder so they can be easily used in different programs.

But for interchangeability it should be done in a relative way; this would also make the exchange of .fxp's with IR's via the FXPcorner an option.
Maybe an option in the preferences, like Use Relative or Absolute paths?

But maybe I missing something here, anybody a solution?
