Thanks for the responses all!
I had been hoping to avoid using a DAW for this, so perhaps having multiple keyboard channels native for the Ruckers now becomes a feature request...
but I guess then that the Roland will have to sit in its case for now and get hauled out and setup under a DAW (Ableton for me) when I actively have more harpsichord repertoire going on, though I have to say that having the Roland sitting on top of the VPC-1 is mighty unsightly, and I have no idea how it's all going to work once my dedicated transducer fortepiano arrangement gets built (using the VPC-1 as the encased controller)...
In any event, thanks again & cheers,
dj

I've just upgraded from my trusty old Roland A-88 to a Kawai VPC-1, but it occurs to me that i perhaps don't want to put the Roland out to pasture just yet...
my question is: would it possible to simultaneously run two keyboards from a single stand-alone instance of Pianoteq and, using the Ruckers, direct one to the lower 8' and the other to the upper 8'? I realize that this could probably be done in a DAW with two instances of Pianoteq running (though 'am not sure about how to handle the two keyboards bit), but I'm hoping there's a (perhaps more elegant?) native solution allowed for by the program on its own? any tips or suggestions would be most welcome!
cheers,
dj
