Noise sound and mic multi placement.

I don't have a 5.1 system on my PC. But I want to ask for who have a good one, and sorry if sound too silly:

Have you noticed if the noise sounds change properly when you deeply chane the mic position, moving it a bit distant from the piano?

I supose in a real piano the noise sounds are almost not listened from some distance.
