Not too bright at all. Sounds wonderful. Like I am standing with my head near the lid, when playing a bit loud. Using Mac Mini late 2014,  2,6 GHz Intel Core i5,  Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and headphones Grado Labs SR80i. Your playing and music is really an enjoyable experience, real flow. Thanks, David - I suspected there might be still a little too much top end. I will low pass some of those highs.

I do play Piazolla's OBLIVION for which I have done an original arrangement. I should get to recording that soon. What piano do you think I should use?

This is my first recording featuring the Steingraeber E-272.

Preset is Recording 1 which involves two closely mic'd spaced omnis plus another at the foot of the piano.

No reverb at all, and I also took out the boost in the upper end EQ that was included in the original preset. I felt it was already bright enough. I wonder if it is still too bright. How does it sound on your system?

I edited the pedalling to get a very clean sound, a sound hard to achieve in a real performance.

As a final step, I added a few extra notes here and there to produce a bigger, richer texture.
