I tried to reproduce some of his tone. Of course, the recording/mixing engineer is the guilty for it. I think he's playing a Yamaha C7

romero lubambo!! he is my guitar god. I saw him at a tiny venue in NYC called Cachaca, which infortuantely closed.. I didn't know who he was at the time, but loved his playing so much, I was captivated with just like 20 seconds of his playing.

Are you talking about this specific recording? Or is there a better recording of this? Maybe it's because if the mono conversion in youtube, but there's lots of room ambiance... From what I know about pt3, this particular type of tone is quite hard to achieve on pt3.. I know it should be possible to get pretty close. Pt3 generally sounds much more mellow.

Hey you

Cesar Camargo Mariano made a great album with Romero Lubambo called DUO. For me, this is a reference in piano sounds. The thing is, I can't find a way to design a piano like this recording:

Seems that his decay is very, very short. I don't know. How would you guys design this?
