Hi! I'm a new user of PianoTeq Stage v6.2.2 in concert with my new Mason & Hamlin BB w/ WNG Action. I purchased the package to supplement the sound capability of the installed QuietTime ProRecord MIDI Optical Sensing System for my night-time practicing. I have successfully developed and used a new Velocity Preset (after ProRecord calibration) and wanted to share it - especially for use with the following PianoTeq instrument presets...
Steingraber E-272 Prelude, Steinway Concert D Prelude, Grotrian Concert Royal Prelude, Bluthner Model One Prelude, and K2 Semi-Concert Prelude -

M&H BB w/ WNG - ProRecord Velocity Map used for PianoTeq: “Fast" Keyboard at pp, “Slow" Keyboard at ff:

Velocity = [0, 1, 10, 25, 35, 46, 60, 70, 85, 107, 127; 0, 0, 5, 15, 25, 38, 60, 80, 105, 127, 127]

An example set of ProRecord-PianoTeq Demo Sound Recordings were generated using this Velocity Preset, which enables comparison of the above Virtual Instruments. The piece selected requires a very delicate touch and is a true test of the action and tone of world-class analog instruments, digital hybrids and digital instruments.

Gluck-Sgambati Melody in Dm (from "Orfeo ed Euridice") - Jason Solomonides, pianist
Recorded on July 7, 2018 on Mason & Hamlin BB via PianoDisc QuietTime ProRecord MIDI Optical Sensing System;
MP3 Audio created via PianoTeq v6.2.2 using a Dell Inspiron 13 7373 2-in-1 Laptop w/ 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256 GB SSD, 8th Gen Intel® QuadCore™ i7-8550U Processor

PianoTeq Settings: Internal & Host Sample Rates: 48,000 Hz, Buffer Size: 64 Samples, Maximum Polyphony: 256 Notes, Sound Recording
Each Virtual Instrument was played using their "Prelude" Recording Preset and the aforementioned M&H BB w/ WNG - Pro-Record Velocity Preset

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULm_zKRaB84

This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

The following PianoTeq v6.2.2 Virtual Instrument Recordings can be found within the above YouTube video at:
00:07 Steingraeber Concert E-272
03:34 Hamburg Steinway Concert D
06:59 Grotrian-Steinweg Concert Royal
10:24 Bluthner Model One Concert
13:49 K2 Semi-Concert

I hope that the provided Velocity Preset proves useful to other ProRecord MIDI owners who utilize the advanced carbon-fiber/composite WNG action in their Mason & Hamlin, Phoenix-Steingraeber, or restored instrument!

Jason Solomonides
