My 2007 MacBook Pro ran PianoTeq ok but the CPU was maybe just a bit too old to run at highest performance. It was a close call. . .

If it helps, I once used an Intel i3 notebook 2010, a quite simple one (450€ by then), and could run PTQ flawlessly with maximum poliphony and never had problems while playing..

Hi, new to all this and I am investigating using Pianoteq but have a few questions someone might be able to help with.

I have a Kawai CA15 digital piano that I would like to try with Pianoteq, but I need to get a new computer to run it on. I would ideally like the smallest footprint PC I can get to run it on, in an ideal world it would be a mini desktop or nettop type unit that would only be used for the piano, has anyone used something like this to comment on and on how the CA15 would perform as an input for Pianoteq.
