The Steinway B does really well in a mix - I only did minor tweaking.

Note that there is a less expensive LinnStrument option - the LinnStrument 128. It has all the functionality of the bigger instrument. Other MPE controller include the Seaboard Block which is less expensive, highly expressive but more difficult to control pitch bend (in my view).

I used Roger Linn Design's LinnStrument to control Audio Modeling's SWAM Saxophone (Alto Model). The aftertouch on the LinnStrument controls the breath.
The bass is from Trillian - also controlled with LinnStrument. I used this plugin in Multidimensional Polyphonic Expression (MPE) mode which allows me to independently control expression (including pitch bend) on each note.
The drums are from BFD Peter Erskine Expansion library controlled with a Zendrum.

The LinnStrument is way beyond my budget, I'll take the Leap motion instead, maybe with a breath controller for the saxes.
