I may be wrong, but I think the actual version of Garageband 11 is 6.0.5 (part of last iLife vers 11?). My last Garageband version in Sierra 10.12.6 is Garageband 10.2.0
As I remeber, the ”i” button (inspector?) was to the lower right in 6.0.5 and then up to edit and so on….
Not sure, but trying to help….

I'm still using version 10.1.1 but here is an image of what to use: first activate the smart controls button on top, then use the inspector button. Modartt will then appear as provider in the list of audio unit instruments.

https://goo.gl/images/srDqNw

Don't know if version 11 differs though...

I have recently purchased and downloaded Pianoteq, and now I am trying to use/access the program from inside Garageband '11.
When I go to the "edit" tab, and select "sound generator", which is where Pianoteq is supposed to be located .... it's not there.
I'm sure it's something simple - hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks in advance.
