It doesn&#039;t sounds like a real acoustic piano</p></blockquote></div><p>Sure...in fact you&#039;re gonna have more control in Pianoteq than you would in other sample libraries because you can actually change the nature of the piano model itself; though, depending on how close a match you want, you might benefit from the more granular control the full version offers you. </p><p>Here&#039;s a <a href="http://shanewinter.com/forum/pianoteq/SpiritedAway_PianoteqStB.mp3">quick test</a> with the demo version (I only have the lighter Stage licensed on this machine) using; <br />&nbsp; • Steinway B<br />&nbsp; • Sympathetic resonance cranked<br />&nbsp; • Long tail hall reverb<br />&nbsp; • soften hammers<br />&nbsp; • reduced dynamic range <br />&nbsp; • increased hammer noise<br />&nbsp; • condition set at about 25 (for tuning variation) </p><p>It&#039;s not an exact match but an idea what you can do in just a few minutes of messing around....and anyhow I think the real value of mimicry such as this is learning which techniques elicit the response you&#039;re after and using those tools to create your own sound.</p>]]></content>
