			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Don&#039;t use 96k sample rate in your host. Bring that down to 48k and you should see CPU going down, perhaps even considerably.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>PTeq 5.8 has started to tax the CPU of my &#039;puter.&nbsp; Not sure why, maybe the int sample rate got changed or something.<br />I&#039;d love suggestions on how to eliminate the occasional popping I now get particularly on using the loud pedal.&nbsp; here are my settings.</p><p>Performance</p><p>int sample rate 48000&nbsp; Hz (optimum value, or at least I&#039;m told this)<br />Host . . . . . . . .96000 Hz<br />buffer size&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;128 samples<br />polyphony&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;256 samples</p><p>Device</p><p>Audio buffer&nbsp; &nbsp;128 samples<br />Sample size&nbsp; &nbsp;96000 Hz<br />Equaliser Punchy with bass heightened.</p><p>Performance index 30</p><p>Computer Acer Aspire 5920, 1.83 GHz, 2 Ram, 120GB hard drive.<br />It appears to perform to specification.</p><p>All suggestions most welcome! thank you, guys.</p>]]></content>
