Hello,

Have you installed the program for the VPC1 ? (VPC Editor)
Because you can make an offset of the velocity for each key with this program
it's probably something wrong with the setting of the VPC1
You can fix it with the VPC Editor

The hardware of the VPC1 is really resistant !!!

I chose the Roland FP-90 over the VPC-1 because I had gained the impression that Roland had better quality control (plus it's lighter, has just as good action or better, and has onboard voices). I hope you get this remedied soon.

You're probably right but I only see John O'Flaherty's page about the sustain pedals not the keys.

Hello, I believe there is a faulty connection inside your keyboard, you should take it to technical service. If you are curious search for ''john o'flaherty vpc1'' in google.

Hello,

I'm new to this forum. Just got my Kawai VPC1 today. And I've been playing around with Pianoteq for the last few days (without a controller).

Anyways, Pianoteq seems to be great and the VPC1 has great action and everything but there is a major problem.

Notes C, E, G# do not trigger across all octaves. All other keys/notes play fine. I would think it's defective but it seems unlikely with the same notes not triggering regardless of octave.

Maybe it's a setting or something. I've tried two different computers.

If anyone has any ideas I certainly would appreciate it.
