Hi.

This may sound like a very strange request, and it may not even be possible. I have a large batch of MIDI files I recorded on a Roland RD500 digital piano, but that instrument no longer works. Most of the time my MIDI files sound fairly playable in Pianoteq, but occasionally there's a problem that sounds like it may be velocity related (some notes are way too strident or hollow; others are too muffled/muted).

I'm wondering if there's a way to calibrate the velocity curve based on one or more of these files. Otherwise, does anyone have a Roland RD500 who could calibrate it and let me know the numbers? (I've tried some other RD curves from this forum, but they don't seem to be any better than the Pianoteq default.)

Many thanks
TB
