Dunno about forearms... But I use a combination of spinning elbows, flying knees and roundhouse kicks in order to achieve *maximum* polyphony ;|

I used my forearms (!) to repeatedly mash down keys as fast as I could with sustain on and the performance window peaked at about the 170 polyphony mark ! As that's a ludicrous way to play I'd be surprised if anyone could hit the 64 polyphony mark normally. About 128 polyphony on Pianoteq ought to be fine. OK, maybe Oscar Peterson would have needed more. :-)

It's the FP30's limit.
When you use the FP-30 as controller for Pianoteq or another virtual instrument, the polyphony will be limited by the software, but most of time by your computer.

Most of the time I find I don't go over 64, but I set it on 96 just to be safe.

It's the FP30's limit.
When you use the FP-30 as controller for Pianoteq or another virtual instrument, the polyphony will be limited by the software, but most of time by your computer.
