I also use the RME babyface pro, and my computer cpu is a less powerful one than yours. I am able to use Pianoteq at 64 samples without pops and clicks.

So I definitely agree that you can expect a better performance with your set-up.

Hopefully you will be able to trace and identify the culprit to pops and clicks.

My CPU is i5-4440 and when I try to get lower latency than 5.3 ms(256 samples)
I get clicks and pops.

It works fine with 5.3 ms(256 samples), but I was expecting a better performance with this top end audio interface.

As much as I was told in the past in this forum, my CPU is completely sufficient.

Maybe changing the properties of the audio interface\operating system\Pianoteq will improve things?
