I have the 'middle' Late 2014 MAC mini with 8 GB RAM.

Though I play piano bad, technically spoken the Mac Mini 2014 is more than enough for Pianoteq. No lags, no tickling. And because the Mac Mini ist nearly noiseless it's a joy to play.

I have a 2009 mac mini with a firewire sound card, and run pianoteq on it from that time.I did upgrade memory and disk some years gao, not for pianoteq, but for other music software.

Could not be happier with it: it has been very stable, virtually silent, low power consumption, almost zero maintenance. I would always recommend a decent external sound card: gives better connection options, helps with performance, and improves your sound quality.

I was looking to go the same way, with the same entry Mac mini.

Do you own the Mac mini already ?

Please post youre results, about Pianoteq on that Mac mini !!
And do you use a USB soundcard ?

Hi. I hope to get Pianoteq shortly and run it on a mac mini. My mac mini is the basic entry level late 2014 model, 1.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor (2 Core), 4GB memory, 500GB hard disc. Is this sufficiently powerful to run Pianoteq?
