Give your opinion. Please be gentle, as João Carlos Martins suffers from several condition on his hands, nerves and a brain lesion, and as result he can't open his hands naturally. 

His performances, despite simple, sounds beautiful and fits very well to the spirit of paralympic games, illustrating that physical problems don't necessarily kills a passion.

The piano brand was covered. But I believe it's a Steinway.

Mr Martins had a surgery about 2 years ago or so, that implanted a device on his brain that allowed hin to open his hands again, but the effect only lasted a few months, and he took that short time oportunity to re-record many compositions of Bach.
