			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>As Otis in Germany (Deutschland) can confirm, Toulouse is closer to a seaport (as a shipment destination) than Mannheim (where my shipment originated).&nbsp; Maybe Gibson, the reputable brand it is, will want to offer to help with its shipment overseas.</p><p>Indeed I am willing to wait.&nbsp; Any Baldwin (SF-10) is well worth the wait to me!</p><p>Besides, this thread has received nearly as large a readership as the thread <span style="color: blue">Pianos you want Modartt to model?</span> alone.</p><p>So, obviously, other people are very much interested also!</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I’d immediately say you’ve gotten off topic totally, in response to your above list, if you had excluded Bechstein from your suggestions.&nbsp; But, indeed it was once owned by Baldwin!&nbsp; </p><p>Today, although no longer associated with Baldwin pianos, C. Bechstein partners with Zimmerman and even Casio on their respective pianos’ design (including action).</p><p>Let me stress, Modartt is alone capable to make an adjustable piano hitch pins innovation a parameter within VST software, for you to eventually control your piano’s singing.&nbsp; Piano sample based softwares are grossly inadequate to this end.</p>]]></content>

Those were popular, and I do dislike them, as well. Just as you describe--thin tone. Brittle if pushed at all. I could never understand why Baldwin created them at all, since the company could clearly have created a much better piano with similar specs and a similar price.</p>]]></content>

I guess that&#039;s a plus when projecting sound in a big hall but maybe lacking the expressive character of other brands for more intimate settings? <br />It&#039;s almost like it is too pure for some material. I wonder if an accurate modelled version would (somewhat ironically) come over as too pure, too synthetic to people less familar with high end Baldwins.</p><p>That&#039;s from my very amateur perspective.</p>]]></content>
