Ballade No. 3, "Transfiguration" - A piece I composed three years ago in memory of Paul Thorpe, a pianist and friend who died tragically earlier the same year. Like me, his favorite composer was Chopin. Commissioned by Robert and Judith Rodwell.

This was recorded using Pianoteq's D4, slightly modified to give it a darker tone.
