The producer Guy Sigworth tells us: "The one constant riff that's in every bar of this 6.21 minute song is the Pianoteq piano. At the start of the song it's completely on its own. You can hear I've deliberately tweaked the sound so it's no longer a naturalistic impersonation of a standard acoustic piano."
