Delt, I have played a bit with Midi-Shape-Shifter inside my DAW to try and do just that. Unfortunately you have to enter all the data manually as it doesn't have anything like the calibration tool we have inside Pianoteq. I haven't found any other MIDI velocity plugin that has that built in either and ultimately stopped using it.

That's already how I play it. I have velocity profiles saved for each KB and "freeze" them between presets. Otherwise what's the point of e.g. Calibration Assistant??

I just had this crazy idea, that there could be velocity curves attached to each MIDI device, rather than (or even better - in addition to) velocity curves of each preset. This way, it would be possible to have multiple different keyboards with different velocity responses, to be used together, without the need to: (1) duplicate presets for use with different keyboards (2) tweak the velocity curve in each identical preset, and (3) run multiple instances of pianoteq with these presets that are identical except for the velocity curves.

What do you guys think?
