I was looking at that also.
I already load plenty of VSTi Romplers. And use DSP and Ananlog synths.
But instead of chasing and wasting time w/ 64bit, I would simply add a Receptor or V Rack, and stay live and stable by increasing my RAM footprint outside of the box.
Perhaps the best thing about V Rack is how Receptors can be grabbed used on ebay now for 700-1000 USD.....Happiness.
Also Muse may finally feel the sales taking a hit due to their slow compatability w/ VST FX/VSTi's.
Intel use to rape us until AMD MP's became available.
Competition is always welcomed.
I'll try and get to the SM Pro Audio booth to see exactly how much of a load it will take, as their statement about " more than 2GB's of RAM " appears to be ambiguous and over marketed.
The pain in arse Linux O.S. used by Muse was optimised to make better use of a 2GB RAM footprint.
Windows is...........well Windows. Already developers who have spent time making Vista/Mac drivers instead of new products are faced w/ Windows 7.0.................Please, stay focused.

Peace

The other hot product in this area is the "V-machines" series from SM Pro
http://www.smproaudio.com/index.php?opt...Itemid=105

Basically a hardware VSTi player.
So if you have a few £grand to spare, you can be gigging with pianoteq, a VAX77 and a V-rack in 2009.

No Problemo.

I use 45 Analog Device DSP chips in my DAW, and when I heard how IR uses the same DSP and MIDI 2.0 specs, it became apparent that these guys aren't just regurgitating more of the same junk.
I do not like the current business models that the big guys follow.
They are in the business for profit.
I like the guys who are in business to be trendsetters of innovation.

Solaris Synth, Soniccore XITE-1 and Infinite Response are all on the same corner. If I want to hear factory brass and see fine Ho's, I can go to the Rompler Room after I play the real McCoys.

Count On Hearing From Me Brotha' Man Rod.
