This example is strictly an artifact of the Medium Hall reverb in my opinion. To reduce it, move the tone slider to the left, moving to the right emphasizes the room resonance. Try using another reverb setup or another preset.

I tried this new setting with the adagio and now it is better a lot for me. I just also reduces 6th harmonic to -4 dB.

Really? It's a Steinway D . It instantly reminded me of Pianoteq. After a side by side comparison I'm once more convinced the D4 is a believable emulation of the real thing.

Thank you Chopin87. I received an email from Philippe Guillaume who advised me to use the spectral profile to adjust the harmonics individually.

For Eb4 note: 1st: -1.8; 2nd: -2.0; 6th: -4.0; 7th: +2.0; 8th: +2.0; 10th: -2.0.

It's quite better! Here is the result:

I am going to try to do the same thing with the other notes ...I was right to move to the Pianoteq Pro version!

I will also see if I can improve by reducing the sympathetic resonance and aliquot strings.

DPA omnis are actually more appropriate than U87 to obtain a natural sound ...I just took the default preset for this example, but there was the same problem with DPA.
