You wouldn't be able to get maximum polyphony, but it should work.

I assume you didn't yet purchase it? In that case, perhaps it might be good to get a laptop with a beefier CPU just to be sure.

FAQ: "Pianoteq is CPU intensive software for it computes the sound in real time.... We recommend a multi-core CPU, such as the Intel Core i3 or better."
The turbo boast with high frequency works only for short time. Aftre the temperature limit breaks down the clock freuency to 1.1-1.3 GHz.
What Core i3 means? 1,6 GHz and higher? Then MacBook 2015 has defintily lower freuency without the TurboBoast.
Actially I cann't test it, so I have to trust others experience.

Should work perfectly fine, the CPU is more than sufficient.
