I am waiting for the new Steinberg Firewire interface, so there is not yet an  interface connected to my new PC.

Perhaps the stand alone will not launch because it doesn't see an interface.

I have been using Pianoteq for a while now.
I have just bought a new quad core with XP sp2.

I have installed both 2.2 and 2.3 versions, and authorised ok. ( I had both on my old PC)

Pianoteq works fine in Cubase4,  but when I attempt to launch the stand-alone versions, from the desktop, the Splash/initial screen appears, showing version, but then just disappears.


Has anyone experienced this, and know a fix?
