Hallo,
I can´t get the Setup right for using Pianoteq with the ASIO4All driver while using an external DAC connected via USB. (win8.1/64)

Pianoteq runs OK without ASIO4ALL using only the windows driver.
There are two working options in the
Pianoteq -> Options -> Devices -> Audio device Type drop down box:
1.Windows Audio
2.DirectSound.
All sound is played via the external DAC.

The third Option for this filed is: ASIO

When ASIO is selected together with Device-> ´ASIO4All v2´ then:
- I can here the test-tone when the test button at the Device box is pressed via the external DAC and
- I can use the virtual keyboard in the Pianoteq application to play the sound on the external DAC.
BUT
- When I press a key on the MIDI keyboard the sound is played via the internal computer sound-card (and speakers) and does not use my external DAC but still the virtual Pianoteq keyboard uses the external DAC at the same time!?

So to me, it looks like Pianoteq uses two different driver for its virtual keyboard and the MIDI device.

I am confused here and need some help....

alex
