I bought a Yamaha CP4 stage in December last year, and use both its internal piano sounds (which are superb) and as a controller for Pianoteq 5. It's by far the best digital piano I've used with Pianoteq, and the velocity settings map very well straight out of the box. Previously I've owned a Roland FP3 and Kawai ES4, which also worked very well with Pianoteq, but the action of the Yamaha CP4 stage is in another league in my opinion, and really aimed at the piano purists out there. It's the best weighted "piano-like" keyboard I've played of the many, many brands and models I've had experience with. Yamaha produce some of the best acoustic grands in the world, so they know a thing or two about piano actions and how they interact with the sound of the instrument.
The CP4 Stage in combination with Pianoteq 5's Blüthner is a wonderful thing!

I tested the CP4 recently - not with Pianoteq though - and it is an impressive digital piano, I liked it a lot, that's all I can say! I think you should be able to mix both sounds without problems since you have an "aux" input. (on a mini-jack, strange choice...).

I'm in the market for a new stage piano and I was considering the Yamaha CP4. I'm aware that it's controller capabilities are somewhat limited compared to others available. Do any forum members use a CP4 with pianoteq and if so how does it work for you? I would like to layer pianoteq with some of the CP4 internal sounds and control both outputs with the sliders on the CP4 if possible. Thanks for any response.
