If you want to avoid any interference between v4 and v5, you can go into the 'options / general' panel and select a different 'presets & add-ons' folder for v4 and v5. That way the FXP & PTQ files of one version won't be shared with those of the other version.

I added C3 and M3 to Pianoteq 5 together with latest KiVir so it should not be a problem. However I would wait for a Modartt's answer or from somebody who still has both version on the pc just to be sure.

Hi guys,

I own a Pianoteq 4 and 5 Pro license. I sometimes still use the pianoteq4 because it is slightly less cpu-hungry. My question is simple, if I update to the new KIViR.ptq file, which requires pianoteq5.1 will some of its instruments be removed from the pianoteq 4 version? I like the M3, and as I said I occassionally still use pianoteq4.

Cheers,

Sergi
