But you hit the nail on the head noticing that there is mainly damper noise. In my experience the amount of &quot;thump&quot; seems to depend on the condition of the instrument: the less maintained the less percussive due to loose mechanics.</p><p>Well, if you take into account that noises in general contribute very much to the realness of the sound and that sampling is a mature technology I think there is still potential here. You could also consider licencing noises samples from others...</p>]]></description>
