The problem is, even with the lowest buffer with asio4all (i get 1.5 ms) i can&#039;t hear any latency improvement compare to windows audio 4ms. My audio is intel sst. </p><p>Is there still anything i can do?</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Good News for Intel Baytrail Processor]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I use pianoteq since ver 4.5 and always wondering when pianoteq will be available for iPad. 3 days ago i visited a computer exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia, and saw this pretty hybrid laptop/tablet, HP Pavilion X2 10, powered by an Intel Atom Z3745D Processor, running a full Windows 8.1. I thought this may become the answer, so without thinking further I bought it.</p><p>A person on the web said he can&#039;t get his Asus Transformer Book T100 (similar spec with this HP) to run pianoteq. But I took my change, after tweaking for 3 hours finally it run pretty well with the on-board audio. Here are what I did:</p><p>- Change the processor minimum state to 100%. If you don&#039;t have the option don&#039;t worry, some manufacturer hide this option, just follow the instruction in the following link to edit the registry :<br /><a href="http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/51027-power-options-add-remove-min-max-processor-state.html">http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/51...state.html</a></p><p>- With this HP, I got no success using Asio4all since the volume become very low. But using Windows Audio option, I can choose the lowest option, 192 sample (4ms), which should feel pretty nice to play.</p><p>- My Keyboard is Casio PX 150, so I set pianoteq to receive MIDI high resolution.</p><p>- The most stable max polyphony is 32, although you might get a good result with 48</p><p>- The performance index shows 15</p><br /><p>That&#039;s all. I still can feel a slight latency compared to the casio internal sound, however I can&#039;t find any solution for this. Is there anybody can give a clue?</p>]]></content>
