I think the whole point of sound recording mode is that you can change the microphone settings... so before there was the possibility to place virtual microphones, there just was no &#039;sound recording&#039; mode in Pianoteq, at least not in the current sense.</p><p>However, &#039;stereophonic&#039; mode nowadays is a special case of sound recording in the sense that you can get the exact same result by placing the mics &#039;just so&#039;. If I understand the information by Modartt on that topic correctly, &#039;stereophonic&#039; produces the same result as &#039;sound recording&#039; as long as you don&#039;t touch the microphone settings, although I am not sure if the same is true for presets with 3 or more microphones.</p><p>If the above is correct, however, then you will only notice a change after switching to sound recording mode <em>and</em> changing microphone settings, and this might be the reason for the wording in the comparison sheet.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I have Stage V5.1.1&nbsp; &nbsp;In the manual is see mention of four recording modes in the Output Module, but no such modes are seen in this version.&nbsp; If this is a limitation of the Stage version why is it not shown in the comparison list?</p><p>Ian</p>]]></content>
