I wouldn't bid on it either, unless I was a certified Kawai repair technician! I was just curious as well, what it will end up selling for.

Might have been rough stage use. Or it got dropped. The sticking keys can also be a sign of liquid damage. I wouldn't touch that thing with a ten-foot pole, at least not for a hundred bucks that I am likely to lose anyway.

The sticking keys might be a result of the key slip (front plate) being damaged.

I see five questions have been asked but the seller has either not answered or has chosen not to show the replies.

It will be interesting to see how high the bids go. I for one will not be bidding (but then there is no shipping of this item to the UK).

What's the best guess as to how this damage was caused?

I am ordering a Casio PX-350 Monday for my wife. I was just looking on eBay and saw a Kawai VPC-1
( currently the bid is $99 ). It apparently has some sticky keys and a couple dents. I have no association with the listing or the person selling it. I just thought it was sad to see an abused VPC-1.
