Hello everyone..
I wanted to know if there's a way of sharing microphone setups, and what if we had like the fxp corner, but with mic placement.
I was reading about how to mic different pianos. For now I am interested in mic'ing an upright piano.
There are several "techniques" and each of has a sonically different sound.
So I was wondering:
1. What if we could get pro mic placements. Either as built-in presets, or as "sharable" ones
2. Say I want to place 2 microphones 2 feet apart (60 cm). There is the coordinates settings in PT, but I guess having a measurement/ comparison tool would highly help.
3. A "zoomable" area so we could really see the piano and the placements
4. This one applies for the Upright only: On the right side, the upright has the lid open and we can see the interior of the piano. It might be not that important, but is it that the piano is completely open, or is the lid the only one.

On a side note, would love to hear about your favorite microphones, and which ones do you use and why.
